COPAKE FALLS DAY   August 15, 2015


  7:30 AM       5k Cross Country Run in the Wilderness Registration
 

  8:30 AM       Runs start


10:00 AM       Opening Ceremony on the Triangle
    

11:00 AM       Ken Druse Lecture, Church of St. John in the Wilderness. Tickets at



11:00 AM       Lunch in the Market Area, Church of St. John in the Wilderness, Depot Deli and Taconic Inn

11:00 AM       Kid’s Nature Craft Activities opposite the Park Entrance

All Day           Crafters and Art Market in front of the Hamlet Apartments

                        Art Show at the Taconic Wayside Inn

                        Visit Hidden Gardens – including Margaret Roach’s

                        Follow the Map to Historic Homes in the Hamlet

Scavenger Hunt and other Activities for Kids

Local History Exhibit at the Historical Society’s Museum         

Car Show

Visit a Dairy Farm all day. Milking at 4:30 PM

Chance Auction and Big Prize Raffle

                        Tours of the Iron Works, Museum and Machine Shop, Bounce House  

Bring your Bathing Suit and Take a Dip in the Ore Bed

K-9 Demonstrations by the Columbia County Sheriffs

12:00 PM        Face Painting and Games, Pony Rides, Sheep Shearing and Herding – NEW!

1:00 PM          Kid’s Art Projects, Birdhouse and Feeder Projects

2:00PM           Taconic Stage Company presents “On a First Name Basis”, Starring Susan Fullerton and Jeffrey Judd, Church of St. John in the Wilderness

4:00 PM          Raffle and Auction Drawings

4:30 PM          Jazz Vespers, Church of St. John in the Wilderness

5:30 PM          Beef Barbeque by our very own Pitmasters

Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at Bash Bish Bicycle, Depot Deli, Taconic State Park office and Copake Front Porch Market. Music by the Bash Bish Band

7:00 PM          Campfire Music with Zach Nayer, on the green across from the Park Office
